Kagoshima

Kagoshima Takamaki Country Club

This is a relatively flat 18-hole course with a high degree of strategy, surrounded by cedar and cypress forests that skillfully incorporate nature as it is. It is fun to play a round of golf while listening to the chirping of wild birds and admiring the seasonal cherry blossoms, azaleas, hydrangeas, and autumn leaves.

The course has hosted the LPGA Tour seven times since 2006, and every tournament has been televised to give you hints on how to play the course.

It takes about 45 minutes by car from Kagoshima City to the north and 30 minutes by car from Kagoshima Airport.

All twin-room accommodations (28 rooms in total) are located near the clubhouse. The baths on the golf course are natural hot springs for relaxation. The club is a membership golf club, but the restaurant, lockers, showers, and stores in the clubhouse are open to visitors.
